Toronto/Los Angeles – September 12, 2016 – AT&T and global independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) have tapped Sara St. Onge to direct season two of the hit polyromantic comedy series You Me Her. St. Onge will direct the ten-episode season, which begins filming this month in Vancouver.
 
Rising star St. Onge is a Canadian filmmaker who spent her formative years in Seattle, Washington. Her short films The Funeral, Lobotomobile, Turkey and feature Molly Maxwell have screened at major festivals around the world including Sundance, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Palm Springs Film Festival, and at New York’s MoMA; and have aired on CBC, Bravo, TMN, Sundance Channel and HBO Europe. Her next feature, Swan Dive, is in advanced development. In 2016, she participated in TIFF Studio, a talent initiative for the Toronto International Film Festival. She is represented by Drew MacKenzie/ Great North Artists Management.
 
Starring Greg Poehler, Rachel Blanchard and Priscilla Faia, You Me Her infuses the grounded and relatable sensibilities of an indie romantic comedy with a distinctive twist. What begins as an impulsive "date" between suburban husband Jack (Poehler) and neophyte escort Izzy (Faia) spins into a whirlwind 3-way affair including Jack's wife Emma (Blanchard), who's been keeping secrets of her own. Their arrangement soon breaks free of its financial bonds to evolve into a meaningful romance with real consequences, posing the question to viewers: What if your best, truest life looked nothing like you imagined? Would you be brave enough to live it?
 
You Me Her was created and written by EP/showrunner John Scott Shepherd (Henry's List of Wrongs, The Days, and Save Me). eOne finances, produces and distributes the series worldwide, which received an additional two season order shortly after season one premiered.
