ENTERTAINMENT ONE SIGNS FIRST-LOOK DEAL WITH
PROLIFIC UK PRODUCERS/DIRECTORS JAMIE CAMPBELL AND JOEL WILSON’S PRODUCTION COMPANY, ELEVEN FILM

Indie studio takes major stride as it expands its international co-production portfolio


London/Toronto/Los Angeles – February 21, 2013 – Leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) is pleased to announce that it has broadened its UK Television operations through a new first-look TV deal with Jamie Campbell and Joel Wilson’s BAFTA, RTS and Rose D’Or nominated production entity Eleven Film to develop new scripted projects for the UK and international markets. 
 
Under the terms of the pact, eOne will have exclusive first-look rights to all Eleven Film produced scripted television development, serve as deficit financier and will handle worldwide distribution, excluding UK rights for all Eleven Film television projects including its current slate in development.
 
Eleven Film is in advanced development on a number of compelling drama projects commissioned by BBC, C4 and Sky, with top writers attached including, Jack Thorne, Fintan Ryan, Joshua St Johnston, Paul Andrew Williams and Chris Dunlop.  The company’s strong slate of programming includes Being Maxine, The Murder of Billie-Jo: Sion Jenkins’ Story, Candid CameronGetting to Gordon, Dawn Porter’s series about breast cancer My Breasts Could Kill Me and Eleven Film’s first drama series Cast Offs, written by BAFTA winner Thorne and Oscar® nominee Tony Roche. Campbell and Wilson’s other credits include Alex and I, Osama and US, Pulling Kylie, Don’t Panic, Martha and Me, Come Home Gary Glitter, Playing the Race Card, 24 Hours With… and Tax the Fat.

Through strong relationships with broadcasters and content providers, eOne Television International has successfully sold eOne’s original and third-party productions to over 500 broadcasters in 150 countries, including the major US networks and international pay TV channels.
