ENTERTAINMENT ONE SIGNS FIRST–LOOK DEAL WITH MARWAR JUNCTION PRODUCTIONS
Marwar Junction projects include A&E’s Autobiography; Lifetime’s I Am Elizabeth Smart; and AMC Visionaries: Eli Roth’s History of Horror.
LOS ANGELES – January 25, 2018 – Entertainment One (eOne) today announced a multi-year overall television first-look deal with Emmy nominated producers, Joseph Freed and Allison Berkley’s Marwar Junction Productions to develop and co-produce unscripted content.
Longstanding unscripted leaders Freed and Berkley launched their Marwar Junction banner in 2012. Most recently, the company produced A&E’s documentary anthology Autobiography, Lifetime’s scripted movie, I Am Elizabeth Smart and weekly pop-culture gossip series Bossip on WEtv. Freed and Berkley are also executive producers of AMC Visionaries: Eli Roth’s History of Horror, set for fall of 2018. They previously launched and produced Syfy’s Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge, a reality competition series from the Jim Henson Company.

Freed is an Executive Producer of Little People, Big World, currently in production for a new season on TLC. Freed began his career at Entertainment Tonight, and first worked with Berkley on syndicated talk show Rachael Ray, which brought them both Daytime Emmy nominations, with Freed winning back-to-back Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show in 2008 and 2009.
