Entertainment One Inks First Look Deal with David Ayer’s and Chris Long’s Cedar Park Entertainment
LOS ANGELES – June 21, 2018 – Global independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) has entered into a two year, first-look deal for scripted and unscripted programming with David Ayer's and Chris Long's new production entity, Cedar Park Entertainment. Through the deal, Ayer and Long will leverage their industry and creative expertise to develop and produce original programming with eOne.

Chris Long most recently served as programming chief at Audience Network which he ran for 18 years and is one of the few creative television executives whose resume includes scripted comedy, drama, non-scripted, music, sports and documentary programming, such as the critically acclaimed and award-winning shows, MR. MERCEDES, KINGDOM, YOU ME HER, RELIGION OF SPORTS, LOUDERMILK, and HIT THE ROAD, in addition to the upcoming CONDOR, and GIVE US THIS DAY.
David Ayer has earned a reputation for telling gritty stories that connect with audiences worldwide. Most recently, Ayer directed Netflix's hit feature film BRIGHT which was the highest viewed Netflix film ever on the service and the #1 movie on Netflix in every country over its release (over 190 countries). Ayer will return to write and direct the sequel BRIGHT 2. Previously, Ayer directed the 2016 global blockbuster SUICIDE SQUAD, which he also wrote, FURY, SABOTAGE, END OF WATCH, STREET KINGS, and he wrote the screenplays for SU-571, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, DARK BLUE, S.W.A.T., and TRAINING DAY.
Cedar Park and Ayer are represented by CAA.
eOne's upcoming slate of television programming includes SHARP OBJECTS, which premieres on HBO on July 8th, starring Amy Adams and directed by Jean Marc Vallée, and THE ROOKIE starring Nathan Fillion coming to ABC this year.
