London – September 20, 2017 – Entertainment One (eOne) is pleased to announce that Benjamina Mirnik-Voges will be joining the company in the newly-created role of Managing Director - Germany, Film. Mirnik-Voges’ appointment was shared today by Alex Hamilton, Managing Director- EMEA, Film, who announced the extension of eOne’s footprint into Germany.
Mirnik-Voges will be responsible for managing all day-to-day film operations in the territory for theatrical and transactional business, driving eOne’s German film content strategy. She will work closely with eOne’s film leaders around the world and with Christian Fritzsche, who leads the licensing of filmed entertainment content in the German speaking market.
The first film expected for release by eOne in the German market is Entebbe, from Participant Media and Working Title Films.

She has an outstanding reputation in the industry and she will be a great asset to our team,” said Hamilton. “The addition of Germany will be a major boost to our distribution profile on a pan-European basis and will support our creative partnerships worldwide.”
Mirnik-Voges joins eOne from Universum Film, where since 2007 she served as Head of Feature Film Acquisitions and Co-Production and was responsible for several high profile acquisitions such as Quentin Tarantino’s HATEFUL 8, Oliver Stone’s SNOWDEN, Garth Davis’ LION, Luc Besson’s VALERIAN, amongst many others. Prior to that, Mirnik-Voges held several roles in film finance before setting up her own production company in Germany, where she produced a number of award winning feature films.

The expansion comes on the heels of a series of new content partnerships for the company including the launch of MAKEREADY with veteran producer Brad Weston as well as a film and television output arrangement with Annapurna Pictures.
Reporting into Hamilton, Mirnik-Voges will be based in Munich. Her appointment is effective mid-October, when she and Fritzsche officially open eOne’s German office.
