LONDON: October 10 2017 - Entertainment One (eOne) today announced that its brand new original animated series, Cupcake & Dino will launch at MIP Junior, 2017. The series is slated to air from spring 2019 on Teletoon in Canada and Disney Channels Latin America, and will debut as a Netflix Original on the streaming service’s global platform.
Produced by eOne and Birdo Studio in Brazil, in collaboration with Netflix, Teletoon and Disney, Cupcake & Dino is an animated comedy series targeting kids aged 6-11 years old. eOne will be presenting the series for the first time at MIP Junior, from stand C15.A5, where attendees can get a sneak peak of the first episode of this hilarious new show.
The 52 x 11’ series follows the larger than life exploits of an unlikely duo – a tiny cupcake with big ideas and his giant, spunky dinosaur brother. Together, Cupcake and Dino strive to make a name for themselves in the super competitive General Services business offering odd jobs that our bros end up making A LOT bigger by being… themselves! This is a comedy with brotherly love at the core of its stories as they embark upon a fantastical adventure.

About Pedro Eboli
Pedro Eboli is a director, animator and illustrator born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He had his start in advertising, as a copywriter, until he joined the Vancouver Film School Classical Animation program in 2007.
In 2013 Pedro sold his first animated TV series “Oswaldo” (Birdo Studios) to Cartoon Network Latin America and TV Cultura. He also co-directed and co-wrote the first season of the show. One year later, he and Canadian buddy Graham Peterson were the finalists in the Nick Shorts program with their pitch “Monster Pack,” which is currently in development. Last, but definitely not least, Pedro created “Cupcake & Dino: General Services," which is being produced by Birdo Studio and eOne Family. Acting as the show’s director and one of its executive producers, Pedro is currently based in Vancouver, where the series is being animated.
