Los Angeles, CA – December 18, 2019 – Entertainment One (eOne) and Rumble Films have entered into a strategic financing and development agreement for film and television. The agreement will allow the two companies to jointly finance new projects and will provide Rumble with access to eOne's distribution base, in multiple territories, as well as Sierra/Affinity's international sales capabilities. In addition to their deal with eOne, Rumble currently maintains financial backing from Andrew Schwartzberg.

The deal was negotiated by Marc Schaberg for eOne and David Lancaster and Jon Shiffman for Rumble with assistance from UTA's Jim Meenaghan.




RUMBLE FILMS is an independent production company headed by Academy Award-nominated producer David Lancaster along with producing partner Stephanie Wilcox and COO/CFO Jon Shiffman. With 45 independent films and television projects to his name, David's producing efforts include 2015's three time Oscar-winning Sundance success WHIPLASH, the Oscar-nominated and Independent Spirit award-winning NIGHTCRAWLER, box office success EYE IN THE SKY starring Helen Mirren, and the 2011 cult film DRIVE, starring Ryan Gosling and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.


Rumble's latest film DONNYBROOK, was released by IFC Films earlier this year. Based on Frank Bill's cult noir novel, the film was written and directed by Tim Sutton and stars Frank Grillo, Margaret Qualley, James Badge Dale and Jamie Bell. Next in theaters from Rumble is THE BURNT ORANGE HERESY, which will be released by Sony Pictures Classics in the Spring of 2020. The noir thriller stars Claes Bang, Elizabeth Debicki, Mick Jagger and Donald Sutherland and was directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. Also in theaters next year will be Rumble's psychological horror film THE OTHER LAMB which will be released by IFC Midnight. The film was directed by award-winning Polish director Malgorzata Szumowska and stars Raffey Cassidy, Michiel Huisman and Denise Gough.
