Meet Julia Dills – an integral member of our Scripted Programming team based in Santa Monica.
How did you start your career at eOne?
I got my foot in the door at eOne as a temporary assistant in the Business & Legal Affairs department in March of 2016. I then moved to the Production department for a few months before landing in Current Programming.
What’s a typical day at eOne for you?
One of the things that I love about my job is that my tasks are different every day and new challenges pop up all the time on our shows! But generally speaking, I help with staffing writers’ rooms, booking directors, approving casting, and giving notes on scripts and cuts of TV episodes.
What are some of your current projects?
The Rookie, The Rookie spin-off, Graymail, Cruel Summer, and Yellowjackets.
Favorite eOne moment?
I have so many wonderful memories from working at eOne but if I had to choose one, I’d highlight the table read for the second episode of The Rookie. This was after the show was picked up to series off of the incredible pilot and we all went to the ABC/Disney offices to read episode 102. It was such a special experience to have everyone in the same room and hear the script read aloud.
